We had the PERFECT day to run wild and play in Newport with Alicia & Brian! The Beach, the Depot, Bowen's Wharf for a few cocktails... what more could you ask for?!?! ..that's right the sweet flirty outfit Alicia had = perfect...oh the colors!!

Pesky tour buses made Holly and Erik's drive to Newport a real hassle but when we finally found each other I had such a blast with them! Drinks on the wharf, playing in woods.. rabbit spotting at Castle Hill.. and a drive over to Brenton Point too! What a perfect day..and COUPLE! I can't WAIT for their September Belle Mer wedding!

Lauren & Jason are such fun! ..and I was really looking forward to their engagement session since Jason's family owns the NE Johnny Rockets and we could go play in one of their many locations! YAY! 'Tis the season for weddings and engagement sessions!!!

Nicole and Danny live up on the North Shore so we headed up to Newburyport this past saturday to play! We ran around downtown, the beach, the airport.. what fun! Danny took Nicole on their first date and surprised her by flying her to dinner in Maine!! He's a keeper! I'm REALLY looking forward to their Block Island wedding this fall!

Tania & Loc were GREAT! We got a late start and were thoroughly exhausted in the end but enjoyed the company, rides and cotton candy along the way! We raced across NYC to play at Coney Island (mind you I'm afraid of heights and get car sick all the time - and still rode the Ferris wheel and spinning carts! - Have you ever been on a Ferris Wheel that has moving cars? These were no stationary cars - they moved "oh %#@!!" ) got to the The Brooklyn Botanical Gardens but just as they closed, and hiked around "Dumbo" trying to find the stairs to the Brooklyn Bridge.. and ended the day with a "not as scary as I thought" subway ride back to Brooklyn to crash.

Well it was cold..far too cold but the three of us braved the chilly temps and were able to play all around Newport! Annie works for the Newport CVB so they had twisted a sweet deal for her to get a fabulous & fun engagement session! In turn for posing as the beautiful bride-to-be she is, and Jay the perfect groom, were fitted for yuppie attire at Brooks Brothers of Newport, and allowed some great access to areas we may not have typically been able to swing! Yippee! Lets hope those Brooks Brothers white slacks weren't too dirty after our play time..what a great deal free clothes for the day!

As she and Michael were standing in front of the ZBar on Wickenden Street a couple came out of the cafe and instantly recognized TRACY!!!! As "the one that runs the RI Knot boards" too funny... You guys clearly have a great support for wedding planning online on The Knot .. and Tracy is a one GREAT planner!!! ...or "knottie" I guess I should say :) You're too funny Tracy! But we had a great time playing with you guys and hanging out downtown!

I love the fall!!! Well Casey and Jamie came up from NYC and we met up at the NY YC in Newport.. to have a few drinks, hang out , and of course takes some pictures for their engagement session!! I swear we have the coolest clients.. you guys make working so much fun for us!!

I can't WAIT to shoot their wedding next summer.. Casey has a very cool look and they'll be so much fun to play with!!

Ohhh what a cute "J.Crew" couple!!! You guys are way too cute together!!! SO I went up to Castle Hill in Ipswich, Ma.. a few weeks back to play with Laura and Brad.. they'll be getting married there next summer.. so we were working on their save the dates! They're working with Donna Kim of "The Perfect Details" and had some cute layouts they needed pics for!! So we PLAYED!!

Phew!! It was a disaster as far as traffic went getting to Alli & Ed that day in Boston.. but thankfully we finally got to them and had time to play and grab a bite too!! yay!

Alli & Ed are getting married at one of our "favorite" places... okay I know I know I'm biased but the Glen Manor is always a fun place to revisit :) I can't wait for their wedding!! Alli is so much fun and just so full of laughs.. she seriously just sparkles!!

So sometimes the "simplest" imagery is the most interesting.. so You-sun came to me and said she wanted to do an Anniversary shoot, in studio, with a stylish Barney's Catalog flair... yippee! :) As much as I love color.. I do LOVE BW Imagery! :)
... even "peanut" the bunny came along for the shoot. Just as an idea though for anyone who doesn't want to climb cliffs and whatnot you can always do sessions here in the studio as well if you like this style better :)

Karen & Tom... well all I can say seriously is I have no clue how I call what I do "work" ?! .... We started there session off with a wine tasting at the Newport Vineyards.. it always helps to get everyone a little drunk ha ha ha.. takes the "edge" off :) And ended the day by trying NOT to get arrested at Walmart!! We may have a new campaign couple for one of our ads :) I like to test the "lines" and see how far I can go with some couples.. and well there's clearly NO LINE with Karen & Tom... which is what we like to see!!

Dani and Bruce opted to "wait till the last possible minute" for their engagement session! They get married on the Cape in ... wait 11 days!!!! But heck why not.. so we went and played in Boston a few weeks ago and had a ball! Spring is a fun season for pictures with the buds all coming out and the weather finally warming up.. but the colors were GREAT that day!! Anyways, congrats guys the countdown is seriously ON!!! We had such a blast with Kevin and Shannon in NYC last weekend! We had driven down for the day to do their engagement session so that they would have the best of both worlds.. their home in NYC and then Newport at Belle Mer for their wedding this spring! .. and they really are a fun couple.. sure I was sniffling away coping with a cold but Kevin was good for a few laughs throughout the day :) It's the Brooklyn Bridge not Manhattan Kevin!! But thanks for the incredible tour of the city guys from 31st street through the park, past Rockefeller Center and all the way through China town to the Brooklyn Bridge!
