Wow was it a rough September for Block Island weddings! We had 3 fabulous couples getting married on Block Island in September and each one had weather to share stories of. Bridget & Bryan may not have had great weather but in the midst of hurricane winds, the ferry being shut down trapping us all, the Coast Guard threatening to break down their tent and forcing the wedding to be bumped up several hours...FYI the tent was flooded too, and everything else around them moving high speed.. Bridget and Bryan were calm, relaxed and just full of smiles... HOW INCREDIBLE! They took it all in, went with the flow/floods LOL, and just enjoyed every minute of the day....if only EVERY bride could be as calm as Bridget in such a situation - Bridget - YOU'RE A KEEPER FOR SURE!

So by bumping the wedding up several hours we were able to take advantage of the sun and had a fantastic time!
